Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (The MAX)
Location: Mississippi or surrounding region (regular travel required)
Salary: $85,000-$105,000 + benefits
The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (The MAX) is seeking an experienced fundraising leader to serve as its Director of Development. Reporting to the President + CEO, you'll lead all philanthropic efforts, expand donor support, and help drive an ambitious initiative to generate approximately $1.5 million in new contributed revenue over the next three years while preparing the organization for future growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead The MAX's fundraising strategy.
- Build and steward relationships with major donors, foundations, corporations, and government funders.
- Partner with the President + CEO and Board of Directors to grow philanthropic support.
- Expand major gifts, grants, planned giving, endowment, and membership programs.
- Represent The MAX across Mississippi while building meaningful community partnerships.
What We're Looking For
- Five or more years of fundraising experience with success securing major gifts.
- Proven relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience with donor CRM systems.
- Passion for Mississippi's arts, culture, and creative heritage.
