Location: Louisville, KY                                                                                          Salary: $50,000-$60,000

POSITION SUMMARY

The Technical Systems Specialist contributes to the development of Audio-Visual assemblies, including wiring, programming, logistical assistance, and documentation. These duties include assisting the creative team in development, testing, and revision of prototypes. Work duties may include some travel to assist with onsite installation of audio-visual equipment. The Technical Systems Specialist may engage in soldering, low-voltage circuit assembly, and other electronics assembly tasks. Technician also responsible for orderly maintenance of company equipment, cabling, and tools. Duties will include some documentation production, including equipment manifests, communication regarding schedules and shipping, as well as technical diagrams.

This role will feature extensive on-the-job training for specialized trade-specific work related to museum exhibits, immersive media, and specialized fabrication. Candidates will engage in moderate physical activity associated with rigging and assembly of equipment.
