Job Opening: Curator of Education, Georgia Southern University Museum, Statesboro, GA
The Curator of Education designs, develops, implements, and evaluates educational programming related to the exhibits and collections of the Georgia Southern University Museum. The position presents programming to museum visitors, including K-12 and University students and the general public, and trains and supervises graduate and undergraduate student employees and volunteers to ensure the delivery of quality visitor experiences. The Educator reports to the Director of the Museum and serves as a key team member working cooperatively with the Museum staff to ensure smooth daily operations and record keeping.
Educational Requirements: Master's Degree in Education or related field
Required Experience: One (1) or more years successful teaching experience in a school or museum setting. Experience writing lesson plans and conducting research and evaluations.
