    This position is located in the Anacostia Community Museum (ACM), Smithsonian Institution (SI). The employee under the direction of the Senior Curator is responsible for facilitating the development and of mission-driven, community-centered research documenting the role and contributions of women to U.S. environmental movement history.


    Develops and implements projects to research, document and share underrepresented narratives about the roles and contributions of women in environmental history.

    Develops exhibition projects designed to maintain and promote scholarship in a public form and develop funding proposals for financial support of projects.

    Participates on the collection committee for the long-term development of ACM’s collections and information pertaining to the collection and identifies and participates in the long-term cultivation of donors.

    Serves as an expert consultant and advisor to colleagues, educational institutions, research foundations, government agencies, as well as local and community-based organizations and groups.
