The Georgia Trust seeks motivated, responsible, organized individual to coordinate daily operations of Hay House in Macon, Georgia and manage all aspects of the use of Hay House as a historic house museum/tourist destination/educational resource and site for rentals and special events. The Director of Hay House is responsible for the stewardship of Hay House as a historic house museum and National Historic Landmark. The Director ensures that Georgia Trust policies are implemented and that all Hay House activities further the mission of the Trust. The Director is charged with serving as a liaison between the Board of Hay House and The Board of Trustees of The Georgia Trust; facilities management; development, budgeting and financial oversight; planning and implementation of fundraising events, rentals and interpretive programs; supervision of all full-time and hourly staff, volunteers, and contracted service providers; and promoting Hay House within the community at large.

Operations and Management
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field related to the mission of Hay House and its administration, plus 5 years of professional experience in management, including the supervision of staff, budget management responsibilities and fundraising abilities for candidates who hold a Master’s degree. Candidates who hold only a bachelor’s degree should have more than 6 years of professional experience in the same areas as stated above. Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal skills, computer literacy, and interpersonal relations with donors are essential. Ability to work/live in Macon, Georgia.
