Program synopsis:

Advocacy starts at home. This program explores how museums can create meaningful impact without a national platform by learning from regional success stories. Featuring the Virginia Association of Museums, the North Carolina Museums Council, and their member institutions, participants will discover proven grassroots strategies to engage local and state leaders, build advocacy campaigns, and empower museum teams to speak up for their missions. Learn from the legacy of regional leadership and leave prepared to lead your museum’s advocacy efforts into the future.

This program is FREE for SEMC members and $15 for not-yet-members.

*Please note that all registrations paid by credit card will include a 3% processing fee.
