2022 Leadership Forum at The SEMC Annual Meeting


Join us for SEMC 2022 Leadership Forum in Rogers, AR. On Monday, October 24, the Leadership Forum opens with an opportunity to attend in-person sessions, a Trustee-Director luncheon followed by additional leadership-focused sessions at the Rogers Convention Center. On Monday evening, the Leadership Forum will culminate with a reception for museum directors and trustees followed by the main evening event at The Momentary at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. In partnership with the Museum Trustee Association (MTA), the SEMC 2022 Annual Conference will offer a Trustee-Director track of programs that explore issues that matter to museum leaders. Learn from leaders in the field about the following topics:

  • Contemporary Leadership Practices and Leading for Equity
  • What’s in a Name?: Museums Facing Naming Rights Opportunities in the 21st Century
  • Endowment: Investing in Your Museum's Future
  • Finding Success in Succession Planning 
  • Aligning Fundraising Around Community Impact
  • DEAI: An Institutional Assessment  

Share ideas and vision with fellow museum leaders. Single Day registration ($100) for museum trustees includes the Trustee-Director luncheon, programs, and private reception.
