The Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience (The MAX) is seeking an experienced, reliable and task-oriented Visitor Services Manager. Slated to open in April 2018 in downtown Meridian, Mississippi, The MAX will be a statewide asset with a mission to recognize and honor legendary artists through hands-on exhibits that visually, auditory, and kinesthetically educate, inform, and entertain visitors. The Visitor Services Manager will be responsible for the supervision of ticket sales and group reservations. The position requires a resourceful and experienced customer service professional who can provide a welcoming environment and excellent experience for all of The MAX visitors from arrival to departure. The starting date for this position is January 2018.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Management, Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in customer service/guest services preferably in museums, attractions, hotel/motel or tourism guest relations environments. Experience in cash handling and management and working with complex ticketing systems is highly desired.
